Greetings, Tar Heels! This year’s Tar Heel Service Day is on Oct. 12, and we’re planning a volunteer event at Bonton Farms in Dallas from 9:30 a.m. to noon. It’s the same day as the Texas-Oklahoma game, but because Carolina doesn’t play that day, we’re hopeful you can spend your morning at the farm. Farm work could include mulching, cleaning stalls, or walking through the Trinity forest with the goats for their exercise. The farm also has a fantastic somewhat-new cafe.

Click Find Volunteer Opportunities, then select Bexar: Service Saturday Registration and go through the signup process to fill out the liability waiver.
